So I'm having to take the boat in for some small cosmetic warranty work so I figured I get a price on Engine/Trans oil change. Was quoted $550 and I quickly said no thanks. With this being my first season with a V-drive I wanted to list out what I needed to buy and ask on here if I'm missing or overlooking anything...I winterized a month ago by draining all the water points on the engine/trans so I know I'll have to do that again post oil change. Also bought a fake a lake plunger style so I can get the engine up to temp to check levels before/after the change. Here's my list...

Indmar Oil Filter Cartridge (501022S) = $9.80
Indmar Oil Semi-Syn 5W30 (872003) 8qts = $52.08
Indmar Trans Fluid (872020) 3qts = $22.50
Indmar Trans Oil (872022) 2qts = $20.40
Johnson Water Pump Impeller kit (09-812B-1) = $29.99

Total = $134.77

I already have a pump to suck the oil from the engine drain hose and oil/fluid from the trans dip stick holes. If I'm missing anything or if anyone has some tips to help ease the job please let me know. Thanks in advance!

2017 Craz, 6.2L 400 Raptor with Indmar V-drive for reference.

That sounds like the going rate for the 20 hour required service.

Steep for oil, V and trans fluid change.

Do you have the correct trans fluid? IF I remember the trans fluid is ungodly expensive at $70 a gallon for dextron 50 unicorn tears.

What I was thinking, sounds like a break-in service price.

If this is a real number, my ‘strainer/flush kit’ option will pay for itself in DIY oil changes :)

Believe so, I matched the part number in the manual and what was posted on the sticker on the trans it self. $7.50/qt at inboardonline.com
