Have to fold

Well I have to fold, winterizing the boat this weekend. I have had it in the heated garage "just in case".
We did make it out a few times in November on the river.
The river has started to chunk up.
Oh well, spring 2007 will be here before you know it!

The DOT is building a new bridge on the river and they have a web cam up.

yellowmobius: I am in Devils Lake. I have a buddy that frequents the site from Fargo. Good to know we aren't the only ones from North Dakota on here.

I used to spend quite a bit of time jetskiing up and down the river there in Bismarck right out of college and we would hit Lake Sak on the heavy windy days to jump the 8 foot swells in the main lake.

I grew up just 60 miles north of Bis. My parents are on the south side of Lake Sak.

Taker easy and maybe catch you on the water next summer.

smokedog: My parents are near Riverdale. Eastern part of the lake. I used to live in Watford City at one time and did alot of skiing up at Tobacco Gardens. Everyone seemed to tube up there. After I skied and barefooted, everyone on the lake look at me like I was some kind of alien.

Shot alot of grouse up near Tobacco Gardens as well.

Grouse, you can still do, ski hahahaha - my folks lake front is, well - not anymore. I shot a pheasant in the fishing hole last year.

I go up every year with my two shorthaired pointers.

The ND reps have got to close that dam like, last year!
