Hey guys, looking to remove the snaps that keep the original snap cover on. Going to go with the one piece cover that pulls around the edges. Any insight on this. Anything is better than nothing

if they are in the rub rail, just buy some more rub rail and replace it. if they are in the gel, that could be an expensive prospect to fill/color. I'd learn to do the work myself as a winter project if in gel.

good luck but if it was my ride i'd just leave them in.

I was thinking of filling the holes in the gel coat then covering with a stripe

Keep the bow cover. You will probably need that.

Bow cover for what reason? Like cold day ride?

Cold day for one reason. Many other reasons with the most important reason is keeping storm rollers from inundating the boat.
