Does anyone know, what is the difference between these two models. It looks like that the Mobius LSV 06 is now named Outback LSV 07- but what is new with the Mobius LSV 07? Any suggestions?

Same hull. Same interior.

The differences are these:

Mobius series comes with tower, Outback series tower is an option.
Mobius series comes with ballast, Outback series ballast is an option.
Mobius series comes with different graphic options then Outback series.

That's about it. If you want the wakeboarding accessories, Mobius is your answer.

This is true of both the LS and LSV lines - 4 boats all the same hull, design, interior, etc. LS is Direct Drive, LSV is the V-Drive (duh) - the "Outback" and "Mobius" only differ in that the Outback line is not as "wakeboard only" and therfore slightly less expensive, the Mobius comes ready to wakeboard professionally. All 4 boats have been this way for the past few years. The only change was when in '06 they went to a larger hull for these 4, they added a new boat to the entire product line - the '05 LSV was such a great/popular hull/setup that they kept it around and made it an entry level v-drive boat for someone who wants all the ability of the Mobius LSV, just slightly smaller and a good amount less expensive than the new "Mobi."

Hope this helps expand on the official response. (probably not)

I believe the 07 Mobius LSV is a new bigger boat than my 05 which was the same as an outback LSV. The Mobius LSV is bigger than the Outbak LSV in 07 - check that, I'm not buying one but I rode inthe new MObius LSV and it is a different boat.

Mobius LSV 07 and Outback LSV 07 are both larger boats than the '05 LSV. And you are right, that hull is today's Outback V.

hijack - I would like to someday upgrade to the stainless steel rub rail. If the outback has changed will a rail for the 05 LSV still be available in a year or two?

We keep parts in stock for as many as 10 years after a model year change, so you should be fine between now and 2010 on the conservative side.
