We have worked on our boat for a few months. We replaced the Brain because the dealer said the Brain was out. We replaced the MAP sensor and the air sensor this week.

We start the boat and you have to hold it at about 2500 rpm and when you let it idle down it dies. If we unplug the MAP sensor it will idle fine, but if you go above 1800 rpm it surges and wont rev any higher. If I plug the MAP sensor it will run fine at high rpm from 2000 rpm up, but if I drop it back down to neutral it will idle down to 600 rpm and die.

Anyone have this problem or know of this? Does anyone know that the MAP sensor part number is so I can make sure I have the right one.

Sounds like you have a massive air leak in the intake manifold upstream from the MAF somewhere.

Have you tried another TPS?

I have not tried the TPS. The Vacuum leak is easy to check just spray around intake and TBI and see if it idles up.

Does any one have the part number for the MAP and the TPS?
