So, it's dipping down to 30 degrees tonight and I'm wondering if I need to run home and franticly start pulling hoses and plugs. I had planned on taking the weekend to winterize the right way. Oil change, impeller, wash and wax, etc... but it appears that the seasons' first freeze is running a little earlier than my schedule. What's the verdict on freeze up if it's only going to be 30 tonight and going back up to 55 tomorow? Can it make it through the night with no consequences?

30 F you are likely fine if you can throw a light bulb in with the engine even better. Some guy on another site busted everything - it got to -10 C/F - not sure.

If it were me - I'd be frantic even though you will likely be fine.

Rather than panic, hook RV antifreeze to the intake, start the engine and run until it comes out - them do a proper job on the weekend.

don't forget teh heater coil if you have heaters.
