2009 Outback V - I always sit on the back of the seat to drive. Now the top of the seat has broken. It feels like there is a wire that supported the top that has broken. Can this be repaired? Can the seat be opened up, looks to be sewn shut? Where can I get parts?

Any thoughts?

It's metal and probably broken, take it to an upholstery shop and they can remove the vinyl and repair it.
