Fuel Filter

Hello

Anyone have any experience with the fuel filter on the '06 LS DD EFI. I found it behind the ski locker on the transom. Is that the only one and does anyone know the part#? I was thinking if I could replace it with a combo water separator system. I would probably have to know the flow rate also. I looks like I'm not dealing with serious pressure at this stage, because of the hose clamps. Any input would be much appreciated as always. Thanks :D

The fuel filter is a Carquest brand #86299, or Wix # 33299. It should be replaced every season. The fuel/water separators are not really needed, Skiers Choice stopped useing them in 2000. There were to many issues in regards to aerated fuel, and vapor lock. Brian Raymond
