I left my boat in the water for awhile and algae grew on the bottom. Also, my surf wake has changed and it is harder for boat to plane. Is the algae the problem?

Depends how much algae is on the boat, get a scrub brush, go anchor somewhere, put a life jacket on, jump in and scrub the algae off. Not that hard.

Not that much algae and I was going to pull it out to clean it but not sure if it will help. I just find it hard to believe that it will affect the entire oat that much.

Lol... I have a whole eco system growing on mine, at least 1/2in thick. Alge isn't your problem, check the wake and surf plates.

They are working. The bow just rides really high now and struggles to plane. Hasn't done this with new prop.

Sounds like the plate or you have too much ballast in the rear.

I know what you mean but it just started doing this. I have had moe right in the boat and it never had a problem with the high altitude prop.

4700 lbs of ballast would do it

I took the boat out of the water and cleaned it. Works fine now. Wasnt ballast one of the tabs was hung up and not moving.
