I have a 15 Mondo and while the manual flow works decent I have to ballast quite a bit to starboard to get a decent goofy wave. Regular side is pretty good with all bags full and a couple people sitting port. I have 1100's in the rears and the stock 1000 up front. I'm thinking of getting the 2.0 installed on it in the hopes of loading up evenly and then just throwing the tabs down to surf. I guess my question is do the 2.0 tabs work good on an evenly weighted boat or am I still going to have to lean the boat a bit?

From everything I've read and the boats I've been on, including 18s, they all need a certain amount of list. Even auto wake has roll numbers to take this into account. I have the manual tabs. Fill the goofy side 100 percent, off side around 80, tab on the lowest setting. Sit your crew to the surf side, that should give you a really nice wave.

I get nice waves, just looking for something faster in switching sides.

I would suggest going to demo a new boat and find out for yourself. They all need some list to get the waves you are used to. Are you guys trying to do transfers or just want faster from normal riders to goofy riders? I can have either side set up from one to the other in about 3-5 minutes. Or you can spend 2 grand plus on an aftermarket unit. I will keep my 3-5 minutes. I am just saying there is no real benefit from adding the tabs since you already have a surf system.

I'm finding I need my port bag at 50% with starboard and front 100%, as well as most passengers starboard to get a decent goofy wave. If it was 80% either way I could live with that but my changes take 5-7 minutes. First world problems I know but when I have 11 people surfing and I'm changing 6-7 times per day, I run into a lot of wasted time.

We always have all the riders ride the side that's ready before changing to the other side. Try your off bag at 80 and the tab all the way down. Then your crew to the surf side. That should cut down on a lot of time
