View Full Version : what are the markings on my ski fin? im soooo lost!

:? just wonderin if anyone out there has a HO vengeance and knows what all the markings on the fin mean and how much difference that the changes will make. i want to run the course but i dont at the moment because i only just bought the ski.

ps. yes, here down under it is still summer! 8) haha.

Those markings should be angles for adjusting the "wing". At zero, it is neuteral in the water and does a nice job of adding holding power to the tail. As you adjust it down, it will increase the downward force on the tail, wich will slow the ski down as you appoach the bouys. As a beginner - DO NOT TOUCH IT. Start with your ski as neuteral as possible. Start with a basic 15' off run at 30MPH and see where you are at skillwise. There are some great threads on here and some good links to training videos etc.

Where do you live "down under" ? It is still summer here in FL too - 89-91 degrees last weekend !

by 'down under' im meaning australia! its just starting to be the best time so im gettin wet regularly now. anyway thanx mate.
