Hey guys, I’m debating on pulling my Enzo bags and grabbing some 1280’s and using lead to make up the rest plus some to get more storage back. But the calculations I’m doing doesn’t show them being that heavy. A gallon of water is 62.5lbs. Are they accounting for the sides bulging on the bag?
Cus it’s a good bit cheaper to grab the 1100’s vs the 1280’s that are only an inch wider and taller.

Crap, I meant one cubic foot... lol
And yes, I agree, but the wife doesn’t! (Especially since I’m about to use up most of the dog house for more subs... lol) Plus, if I can get 1280’s plus 800# of lead I’ll be further ahead plus be able to use some space under the seats. Win/win! Lol

Hows the sub box coming along, any pics?

Nope... I haven’t touched it in a while. I cut the wood and quickly remembered why I haven’t built a box since college. I hate it. Lol
I’m just using some old leftover boxes at the moment. I’m stuck on how I’m gonna build a trim pane for the helm and the layout for the dog house. The air pipe for the hull is in a really horrible spot.
It’s lookinf like I’m gonna have to build a new amp rack or relocate them.

Well, scratch the 1280’s idea. They won’t fit in the SA. I just went and measured and the lockers are deep but short length wise. No way a 50” long bag will fit unless it’s only 18” tall lol.
Now I’m thinking I’m gonna have wakemakers build some custom bags then do the lead. Kinda of a mini Enzo with a shorter leg.

They have to be accounting for the fact that the sides do not stay square, because none of the measurements of the bags matches the weight. I have 1100 lb bags but the measurements put them around 900 if the sides stayed square.
