Yes... much cleaner at volume imho! I dont regret the cash spent.


Also added a 12 in the locker. At the moment pretty happy with the system!

Any RGB controller will do. Wetsounds makes a nice one but it’s expensive.

Yes. You will be hard pressed to find a bigger fan of the Kicker marine gear, but the speaker moomba uses is a price point level speaker and not Kicker's best. Its got a .5" "W" or hybrid tweeter compared to the .75" dome tweeter used on the KM654. Even between the OEM and KM654 there is a noticeable difference.

Compared to the Wet Sounds Revo-6, it uses an even larger 1" dome tweeter a 2nd order cross-over. Larger motor for better power handling, so way more potential when upgrading the power. Even powered the same, there is quite a noticeable difference.

Which JL’s do you have? The ones that came on my boat sound amazing super crisp nice and loud shut down the cove last week when everyone had 50 different songs playing

I have not had a chance to get a demo of the production speakers this past fall. So im having to wait till they are ready for retail and get a set wired up on the display.
