Tower speakers

Exile ,wetsounds or Jl .Looking to upgrade which speaker would you guys recommend .Only surfing is what I want the sound for .

Dont leave out Kicker and Rockford! They make an 8" coaxial same as the others, but hands down, the Wet Sounds Rev-10 has to be considered as a surf speaker, even though its an HLCD. The 10" driver adds so much more mid-bass compared to an 8". A single pair of 10" is nearly the surface are of 2 pair of the other 8" coaxial, yet deeper mid-bass then any number of smaller speakers can deliver.

So if I was not adding a sub which one would sound the best .

I tend keep treat them as different zones. Woofer for inside and towers for outside. With that said, larger speaker delivers more mid-bass, deeper mid-bass, which typically equals more balance and better sound quality.

Ok what amp to run the rev 10’s then

For a single pair, the Syn-DX4 is a solid choice. If theres ever a chance of adding a 2nd pair, the Syn-DX2.3HP is the way to go.
