2011 with 80 hours.. Had a 2010 GTX, sold it to buy this one..Need to update my signature I guess. I need a couple board racks for it. The guy I bought it from never used it and has no idea where is at.

We are fortunate enough to live on the lake, so having a nice little ski to play around ok is just a bonus. That GTX is super nice, wouldn't have sold ours if not for the Wake edition

I live on the lake too, have a 2010 Yamaha VX Deluxe that I bought new in 2012 that has 33 hours on it! 🤣 it literally goes out for a 15 minute rip every so often and that’s about it. Granted, the kids are getting old enough to use now so that may change.

I suspect they’re more fun in pairs so you can have a buddy.

That was the last one I sold - the Polaris.
I agree, when you live on the lake, it's nice just to pop them into the water and take a little cruise. Need 2.

The white is a little different but the clash is not bad. I am mixing in black accents where I can so it’s not solid white.

Black rev 10’s. Black tower accents. Black letters and tint. Interior is dark graphite.

Nice, I just bought an 01 Mobius V last October 400 Hrs 15K with bags, boards, shapers, covers and ton of other extras way up here in Maine. How did you do if you don't mind me asking. I put it on water once (I was very impressed by the surf wave) and have been working on it since, Flooring, bags, pumps, lines, steering cable, tower speakers, raising the seat, epoxy surf platform mounts. It's been fun, almost done with all the projects, my lake is still 6 inches of ice now. Shoot me a message with any questions.

How did you raise the seat? I've explored a few options but due to the short pedestal I can't find anything adjustable. I'm thinking some aluminum channel as a spacer on the top rails since I don't want to buy a bolster seat and have to have it reupholstered to match.

I love you interior colors and details, I took the seat post off and had a welder add a extension the same size, it's not adjustable but 90 percent of the time I'd want the seat bolstered so I said screw it and will have it raised all the time. I thought about removing the seat part of the cushion and having an identical match made with 5-6 inches of extra foam and keep both on the boat and swap when necessary.

That is what I was looking at doing. I thought about buying an adjustable base but I don't think it's worth it. I'm going to just well up some pipe for an extension.

Got to go out yesterday on Conroe on a new SL with the new Rinkers Phase5 rep! Brought out some boards, and we rode all day. I even got to ride his original prototype board. That thing was fast! My back leg was tired within the first minute hitting the brakes. Rode a 55” Hammerhead and fell in love. It’s so light it’s crazy. Frustrating part is I haven’t gotten to ride my new Doomswell carbon hybrid skim yet and I already want another board! Lol

As long as I can remember to put it in the UP position when I take off I'll be golden [emoji28]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180416/cc8eac1a2035bbe0b443ba615fc73b90.jpg

That's the factory weight with 100% full surf side, 90% non and 70% in the bow. I'm not sure what the plate setting are.

The helm box build has begun... I immediately realized why I stopped building them years ago. MDF sucks. Makes such a mess. But the price of birch boards has gotten out of control.

Made a cheap fluid extractor using a bucket, couple fittings, hose and my shop vac. Works like a champ.

Last year there was a 12" sub in a smaller sealed box at the helm down at my feet. Wanted to pick up some space under there and was planning on notching the floor hump to slide it back. Then I ran across this ported box and tested it out. Sounds way better so Im trying to fit it in there now. The first picture is as far back as it would go with the hump. There is plenty of room now. Just need to figure out where it sounds the best, finalize placement, add feet to the box, finish the fiberglass and carpet on the hump removal. Then build false wall and footrest.

Removed both floor panels while I was doing other things. I planned to replace the carpet this year, or swap over to foam flooring. Projects and time got away from me. So I quickly rinsed down the carpet with the hose and dyed it with RIT dye. I had no idea how it would turn out, but it was worth a shot and quick to do. Figured any improvement would be better than it was.

Here it is after rinsing several times until the water ran clear. Turned out way better than I thought it would. Wished I would have actually tried to clean the carpet before doing it!

I have some 3 mil booties for surfing. They're very comfy and my feet aren't cold at all. But you don't feel the board as well. For wakeboarding, I have some fleece/neoprene socks that I wear in my closed toe boots. Does pretty good. I was fine in 36 degree water in January that way.

The gloves I use keep my hands dry (they're kayaking gloves) so I've never had trouble there. My boat doesn't have a hot shower though and it's something I haven't had a huge amount of motivation to add. My booties keep my feet pretty dry too. Just the loss of board feel. But then again, when I surf in cold temps, I really don't wanna take a fall so I don't push myself. LOL

Finally got the boat in the water today. The FAE really quieted the boat down a lot.

I'm not sure why, but even with the NauticLaugic GPS, my surf wave doesn't form until about 13.5 mph. Between 13.7-14.2 the wave shape doesn't change much.

It's amazing how the pictures and video make the wave look longer and not as tall as it looks in person. As I was driving and playing with Nauticurl positioning, I kept thinking my wave doesn't look like the pictures of others I've seen. Then I looked at the pictures and...yes it does. [emoji23]

I can tell you that my car speedo is most definitely off. it's bad, like 5mph different. In Europe, there are laws that say that a car speedo can't under-report the speed, so they mostly over-report it. annoying to say the least.

I've used the GPS Speedo app. in the car, I have GPS on my radar detector that reports my current speed and it's consistent with the speed that displays on the Waze app. So I know that my car is wrong.

Of course, after motoring to the play spot, the first priority for the wifey is getting the "girl pic". Always happy to oblige.

After battling with some tennis elbow and throwing out her back, the wife was VERY happy to be back surfing. Her first pull of the season.

I was next on deck. Tested out my Hurley Phantom 303 wetsuit. Pretty amazing. My shorts were completely dry underneath and my rash guard was almost completely dry too. Wetsuits have come a long ways. The water temp was mid 50s, and I could have easily justified the drysuit, but figured I'd test out the new wetsuit.

Since I believe that the Nautiue Logic unit is mimicing a paddlewheel signal but with the GPS being the source of the input, it doesn't surprise me that your readout would be the same. Under the dash, probably over by the ignition should be a little dial knob. that allows you to adjust your speedo reading. go out and use your app again and turn the dial until the speedo reads the same as the GPS on your app, then you should be good to go.

Ah, then you need to go into the settings of your speed/cruise. I know that on my Perfect pass, I have the ability to adjust the digital readout of the speed that's showing on that unit. it's in the area where I'd adjust where I adjust KDW and NN I believe (the agressiveness and sensitivity of my Perfect pass). I have to imagine that whatever system is in your boat can do the same. You just have to get into the speed calibration menu.

looks like this thread might provide some insight. you're looking for "offset".

I got out on the new Doomswell. It’s fun, it wants to turn and spin even with all 3 fins. It lacks a little push though. I hopped on my old Byerly just to check if the wave was still there.
Back to the Doomswell, I built a rider profile and we just played with it for an hour with no autowake. Got a pretty massive wave rolling. Now I wanna pull the outer fins and see if I can skim the new kid!

Back to the Doomswell, I built a rider profile and we just played with it for an hour with no autowake. Got a pretty massive wave rolling. Now I wanna pull the outer fins and see if I can skim the new kid!
First ride on the new toy!

Somehow didn’t get any rope-less pics.

Don’t feel bad...Lots of people cannot go ropeless. Ha!

That is a pretty awesome day you had! Funny you bailed on autowake. I did as well on last set. I don’t know what it’s doing sometimes.

The wifey getting some ride time. The water was 83 which was real surprising since it was 72 last Thursday.

Lol... some days are better than others!
Yea, I filled center and surf side 100%, and 90% non surf. Plate all the way up and the tab at 70. Wave was instantly better with the boat slammed. Autowake always wants to drain to hit its #’s. That’s annoying.

I don’t ever run autowake when we surf only when we wakeboard.

Finally dipped the tub into some brisk upper midwest 52 degree water. Our ice just departed last week.....not cool. FIVE full weeks behind last year.

Some cool stuff: Corson Piper's surf rack mounted on my original swivels with fingers removed--to keep fancy boards safe. Going to do the same thing on the other side too. Added benefit is that I cannot scrape these off coming into the hoist if I am a little forgetful that day....

Also first run with the fresh 1280# rear sacs, upgraded from the Sumo 1000#s from a year ago. I had zero time to tweak today due to the whole family in the boat, so this will clean up. The sheer volume of water being moved by the boat is astounding. 5110# ballast in a 2016 SE. Can't wait to get on that!
