Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My two very capable sons where out in the boat and when they returned they said that when they were wake boarding, when throttling hard from a standstill (however the transmission was engaged), the engine felt like it had no power. This happened several times, then in a few minutes, everything seemed normal.

When I called the dealer they said the problem was because it had perfect pass, throttling hard stretches the cable on the perfect pass not allowing the engine to perform properly.

My boat is a 2005 Mobius LSV with 110 hours on it.

Does this sound right. I would like for someone at SC to address this also.

Ed,

Yes it has PP and the speed was set to 22 MPH.

We use this all the time. The only difference is he throttled down very quickly. I was in the boat. It seemed like the boat would just not go.

Also when I called the dealer, he said to start up and cut off the boat several times and the cable would re-adjust itself.

Ed,

I give up... What do mean by reset the system and run the linkage & servo motor tests?

I have never heard of doing that. Please be specific.

Thanks,

this happened to our LSV upon arrival as well.....after coming from a sea ray that refused to run half the time, it kinda freaked us out to say the least.....
