Hi,

Was wondering:

What is your fuel consumption. Wanted to know what i can expect with a 325 mpi. on a LSV.
Just normal wakeboarding an skieing, How is it compare to a 310 indmar? Does it use less or more?

Thanks

I’m tempted to tell you if you have to ask, don’t get the boat.

I have yet to try and figure it out. I went 70 hours this year on about 7 fills so 10 hours on a 40 gal tank so 4 gal per hour +/- a gal. or so.

I can go a weekend without a refill, at least 10 hours and I rarely peg the gauge except on three + day trips. Even then it usually only takes 20 gal or so (the gauge is very conservative).

gas is about 4th on the things you will be buying:
boat payment
boat insurance
boat storage
boat mx
boat toys
more boat toys (the kids lost 4 pr of spex last year – this year they got junk)
place to stay at lake so you can do more boating
New boat feature (I’m adding a second battery as we speak)

o.k. gas is not really #10 but fuel efficiency is not one of their selling points.

:p

what was the question?

I have a 03 and in 6 to 7 hrs of towing I burn 24 to 28 gallons of fuel.

Good luck

And think, I've been complaining about $3.00 a gallon. I have a motorhome, the boat and 2 SUVs. I've been spending $200 per week altogether on gas this summer. If I were in Europe it would be $500 per week. I guess we are pretty lucky.

For sure don't get the carb. ouch. I'm not sure I could aford the boat at that price. One fill - $320 hahaha, nope, not even with my xom options - which I buy every year to offset the gas cost of my toys. Expire worthless - gas was cheap. Last year I was up $5,500. To me it is not investing, it is insurance.
