I am new mobius ls owner, and enjoy the info on this bb.

I have a popping sound from my stock tower speakers each time the wakeplate is activated. It pops when I begin running the wakeplate and it pops when I finish running it. It does not pop through the unamplified speakers, which tells me it is some interferance through the amp. Are there any filters or fixes for this?

Any help is appreciated, this is somewhat annoying, particularly from such a cool looking boat!

your power wire from your amp is most likely running near your speaker wire for the tower speakers, so the power wire interferes with the speaker wire, thus producing the crackling sound. the only way to get rid of the crackling is re-route the wires so that they're not near each other at all.

I had a similar problem with my "06 LSV. It turned out that the speaker wires were crimped where the tower bolts to the boat. This was causing them to short out. I simply unbolted the tower mount nearest the radio and repositioned the wires and the problem was fixed.
