Sorry, we've been out at the boat barn, trying to figure out what all is missing. They forgot the center filler cushion, the hard cooler, and they didn't put the Enzo bags back in after cleaning it. Also, One of the tower speakers isn't working.
We surprised the kids, they thought we were going to put all of the gear back in the old boat. I just told them it was going to the shop for a while for some work. Lol
When I opened the door they were speeachless. It was great.
Other than that, it's so pretty... I'm in love with that ultra blue. Can't wait to get it out tomorrow and play with all the buttons! Lol
Now it's a big puzzle on how I'm gonna store all the gear. Never thought a boat this size would be so lacking on storage! The bags just take up everything.

Sweet boat!!!! Love the blue!

Maybe don’t do Enzo bags. That’s where all your space went. The wave is solid with just a couple pounds of lead.

Yup, I'd skip enzo in favor of lead and retain the storage. Congrats on the new ride!

Ahh, beautifull boat. Love the shimmering blue. THat boat is 22.5 ft. Only 1/2 foot shorter than the Mojo, Everything is relative but I would guess you should have more than enough storage. I can fit 3 surfboards, 3 wakeboards, 6 tubes and various other floatation devices in the rear lockers during transport to the lake. Its a little tricky when I fill the bags but you'll get creative. Its one of the reasons for me to get a second pair of tower racks.
I guess in comparison to the 24 ft SSV it may seem lacking but you'll forget about it soon and find you have plenty of room.
Great to see the huge smile on the kiddo's faces.
Love the garage too, the ceiling must be 15 ft high, 13 ft door? drool. I cant fit my boat through my 8 ft garage door and have to store it off site.
Enjoy!

I would use the surf pockets in the bimini to store the surf boards and load the surf board compartment in the back with lead. We are also looking into getting trays that go over the rear bags and engine 3D printed this winter so we can store the box and anchor and all of mooring lines and tow lines back there to free up under seat storage.

Great point David. That rear surf storage is your best friend. I could do two surfboards with fins off, lead, anchor, row ropes, and a few life jackets. It’s one of the best features on the SA.

Another Langston blue boat in Houston! It’s becoming a best seller.

This Bimini doesn't have surf pockets... wish it did.
Isaguel, I wish that was my garage! lol it's a 25x50' unit at a storage facility about 3 miles from my house. That's where are the cars/trucks are put under the knife so I have a useful garage space at home.

We'll see how it goes out there today, maybe I'll sell the Enzo's and try to find some stockish size bags. I've got my GoPro charged up to bring out today so I don't have to describe the WALL of water behind that thing with Enzo's

That rear locker is awesome, gonna use that for jackets. My Byerly board just barely fits back there.
As far as storage, we got a lot figured out last night. But as with anything, it'll find a home as we use it. Biggest killer is that bow bag. I used to keep all my orange jackets under the bow seats in the 06. We never knew how many were gonna show up.

And I'll admit, after seeing davids boat, I was hooked on that blue. When this one popped up I was in love.

Well today was a bust... smith and calm when we dropped it in. By the time we got to the main lake it was a washing machine. 2-3' rollers, whitecaps, blowing 25ish knots outta the NW. Then it got cloudy and cool. We got the crap beat out of us headed back to the dock. But, not as bad as it would have been in the 06!! Lol
That SA is a beast in the waves, it just kicks back at them.

Just out of curiosity, what are the stock bags? 900?

This from memory so someone correct me if wrong. 250 hard tank and 750 bag. So 1,000 in each corner. Then 1,200 for front and center.

Thank y'all! Still bummed about yesterday. Lol

So is anyone running 1100's in their SA? Seems like that would be plenty if y'all are running some lead in there.

Mobius22

Quick tip on the SA, running some lead in the rear surf locker is not a bad idea. 4-6 bags and you'll be golden. In 2018, the SA comes with 900s in the rear, so you might be able to get those from your dealer.

The Enzo bags are what? 1500 pounds each? I was thinking some lead and 1100's if they fit. I guess I need to get over on wakemakers. I love those Enzo bags but they just extend so far forward I have no staorage.

I wanna play with this one as it sits a few times before I make a decision. All my gear will eventually find a home the more I use it.
Maybe before winter hits I'll see if I can borrow a couple 1100's for a day to compare from someone local.

Once you see the wave with those enzo bags compared to 1100's, I have a feeling you'll be willing to sacrifice storage.

200-300# per side - right?
Those bags are 50# each.

Bout 150 each side inside of the surf locker. Had good luck with that.

Brokepilot, there is no replacement for displacement. Go 1500's, you'll never look back, if you get the 1100's you'll always wonder what if, and you'll do what I'm doing, going from 1100's to enzos. Now I have two 650 lbs bags sitting in the garage which will soon be accompanied by 1100's. Wasted money.

I've seen it once on the demo day. It's a pretty insane wall of water.

I have to politely disagree with some logic on this thread. My goal is a fun day on the water with the family. Not to make a professional big as possible swamp a fellow boater wave. There is a point where the storage for kids stuff, friends gear, and extra beer overrides bags taking up storage. I think the 900 or 1,100 idea is a good one depending on bag shape then add lead on surf side if necessary.

But no matter what...you have a seriously pretty SA!
