My outback has mostly white upholstery which gets a grey tint in spots. It may be mildew. How do you whiten it up?

Biokleen Amazing Vinyl & Upholstery cleaner. Available on Amazon, and they have a protectant to use on it afterwards as well.

If those store cleaners don't work, try a mixture of vinegar, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide. I've had good luck on removing mildew on life jackets with this mixture. Google it and pick a ratio.

I've used this and it's very inexpensive. Can be found at Dollar Stores. Just need to use a protectant afterwards.

Yep dollar store awsome and a soft drush to get in the texture of the viynl. Then use a non slick protectant to bring back the shine. Will look like new.

Maybe try jomax and bleach mixture as prescribed on the jomax bottle... I would try a small spot first to see, I have used it with success

Totally Awesome is a great cleaner, but it has to be diluted if using on vinyl. It is very concentrated.

Once you clean it be sure to put something on to protect it like 303 or other. Need to keep the vinyl from drying out.

I just tried cleaning some mold/mildew off of my jetski seats with Awesome and it didn't do a thing. I haven't tried any of the other stuff mentioned, but once I used the baking soda and hydrogen hydroxide mixture it removed every ounce of mildew. I just eyeballed amounts until I had a thick sludge that I could spread on the seat and let it sit overnight. In the AM the sludge had become a solid that I lifted off. I rinsed the seat and it looked good as new. I will find something with mildew on it to get some pictures of using this process because it is just magic.

Do not throw the solid mixture on your driveway, apparently it is not water soluble.

I've had great success with https://www.hulaboatcare.com/

Specifically this: https://www.hulaboatcare.com/product/wipe-out-vinyl-cleaner-conditioner/

My wife had her hair dyed multiple colors this summer and when I saw blue & purple splotches on my sky grey interior I shit a brick then almost had a heart attack. I was convinced that nothing was gonna get it out. My wife saw how crestfallen I was and even offered to have that piece re-upholstered. Thankfully the Wipe Out vinyl cleaner from Hula did wonders and it looks brand new...no evidence of hair color.
