I have two ballast bags in the from of my xlv (260 each) tied in to replicate an IBS due to the bow stops.

The bags slide when full on the carpet and pull out of the threads flooding the cockpit any recommendations.

any thoughts

Go buy a roll of that grippy rubber Mesh that you put in your cabinets that you sit your plates and glass on etc, and lay a sheet of that under each bag.

Not sure what your setup is but why not have longer hoses?

They seem to be long enough , but extensions could ceratainly work
Just thought if they didn't slide

I fill empty from the stearn end of the bag through bow end of the 1180

Take them out, list the bags in the classified section here and buy a new boat.

I have used boat cushions folded in half and/or the old fashion hard foam swim noodles to prevent movement. Although, I would definitely prefer the new boat option. [emoji41][emoji475][emoji570]

I'd say try some grippy mat under the bags as previously suggested and long enough hose that then don't pull the fittings out if the bags slide back.
