Brought in Oct out on lake Houston today. Did not get a lot of pictures but we did slam the boat and take a quick wakeboarding set.

2017 Mojo Max Surf edition with everything 100% full (2950) + 2 400 lbs bags under the cabin seats + 200 lbs of lead for a total of 3950 lbs. 3 adults and toddler in the boat. 22 mph. The 15x13 got us on plane no problem.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171002/e346b8fa0a0eef2f6fcc5dcaa030c2ff.jpg

Pic looks nice. You should be able to get some big air pics with that.

How much weight do you normally run when wake boarding?

Normally we run about 1500 lbs of ballast plus people wakeboarding. We were kind of rushed so we didnt get to spend much time tweaking it and the water wasnt ideal. Hopefully in a few weeks we can get on the river and try it out again. I was impressed with how well the boat got on plane with all that weight.

One of these trips y'all do out to lake houston I'd like to hop on just for a trip around the lake with y'all to show me the good spots if ya don't mind. I'll pony up some gas money... I'd like to be able to travel to some new places with the new boat! Never been out on houston

You're more than welcome to come but we are not the best tour guides. We just stay right by the dam lol. Cactus knows it pretty good I think.

1500# does throw a good Wake. But 3950# throws a monster Wake lol

Winterized last weekend. Unfortunately last ride was Labor Day. All the smoke from fires put a damper on September riding and a cold spell we had mid September cooled lakes way down. Until next year...

Yep. We only use auto wake for wake boarding. 100% fill bags and then we turn it on so it can adjust from there.

Man... just shows how big of a puss I am. Here's my max, towing me, center plate (trim) @ 0% (all the way up) with no ballast. I'm out at 70'. Probably need to ride at 65' for a while. The wake is almost up to my waist and the lip is retarded flat. It made for a few good crash vids. Gonna take me a while to clear and 180* behind a real boat. Imagine some ballast in this sucker...!

The wife and I snuck away for a quick last trip of the year, and we’re dropping off the LSV for winter storage today ..... it’s just about peak fall colors up here in the North Woods, and we snapped a few pics of our very quiet lake on a beautiful Fall Friday afternoon. The good news is that while the boat goes into winter storage, the snowmobiles come out of summer storage. Bring on Winter :)

For me, it's when the wakeboard/surfboard gets put away, the snowboard comes out. Although I really do wish I had some snowmobiles to take out when my motorcycle gets put away...

There was this bright thing in the sky so we couldn't resist dropping the boat in the water. Even though we're in freshwater, our rivers are very affected by the tides. Water level was so low the trailer wheels went off the concrete at the bottom of the launch. But we made it happen.

For those of you softies in the South, the water temp was 53 degrees. Had a blast surfing right along the seawall of the downtown Portland waterfront.

https://i.imgur.com/Cdg2uDS.jpg

at the end of the day, we were boarded by the USCG and ran through the safety check. For those of you that don't know, the USCG has the authority to stop and search your vessel any time they want for no reason at all. They have powers that actually supersede the 4th amendment! wow!

Got out on the water last night. The sun sets at 6:30pm, so daylight is limited. Water temp was 52 and I got in a wakeboard set and a surf set on my buddy's G23.

Let me tell you that the G23 wakeboard wake is MASSIVE. With ZERO ballast and maybe 35 gallons of fuel, the wake was big. Not only did I have to shorten the rope and speed up a little over my typical speed on my XLV, but I also had to really dig in and go for it to make sure I cleared it. But When I did, I certainly got booted up high. Good times for sure. But yeah, the G23 wake is way more intense than even my XLV fully loaded.

I'll see if the wife got pics. I didn't break my phone out until after sunset when we were cruising back to my friend's boat slip.

Those two pics were at either 21.5 or 22mph. And I was riding at 65 feet with the wake set to ramp vs peaky. After that I dialed it down to 60 feet and changed the wake to more vert than ramp.

We just got the sixer—only ridden a handful of times behind an RZX last Thursday. Feels excellent. Very light fast and friendly.

What’s funny is the Jimmi8 is a riot on the RZX wave, but a bit more work on my SE450 wave than I would have guessed. The true test needs to be riding the sixer on my SE wave. I have a hunch it’s going to produce speed more easily on that wave than the Jimmi8. The Jimmi8 is excellent though, lots and lots of pop. I find that with the quads in-landing and controlling everything after boosting is the best of any board I have ridden. It’s just solid and feels planted when you air/land.

My handful of rides on the sixer though have me stoked. I think that board and I might get along VERY well.

Thanks for the info. Always good to hear rider reviews on other boats too.

Got the 2018 Mojo Pro out on Lake Powell for an extended weekend thanks to www.marine-products.com The new Titan racks are the best racks made, expensive yes but well worth it. Over 80 miles on the lake in one day and the surfs didn't move at all.

Does having the titan racks make it so you can't fit a 2nd set of racks? do they swivel well to the inside of the boat? They seem like they'd take up more space or be inconvenient in certain circumstances (rafting up?). Care to comment?

Nothing like waiting until it's dark out to give it a try! LOL

No kidding. It was the only time I had some free time!

Are you ready? Summer is over for us. Now onto the frozen water.

Would have been a lot easier with an electric winch. I couldn't imagine doing this every weekend!

Nicely done. Especially tricky with that tandem axle trailer.

They take up a lot of space but I think you can fit an extra set up racks up higher. The Titan's swing all the way in and are out of the way completely.

Tenants moved out and left a ronix spaceblanket 141 (camber board). Hated it! And 141 but is way bigger than my 143 Watson hybrid?!?

Upper 60's and sunny in Portland. Got on the water on a friend's boat. No one really wanted to play in the water except me, so I took a surf set. Played with the DJI Spark drone a little.

HeaterCraft 200 kit, a few hours, and my SE450 is now fully equipped. Now just need a weather break to get the precious November ride that we try for every year before winterization!

FYI adding heat to a Raptor could not be easier. It’s completely set up for it.

Couldn't get anyone to go out on the water in 40 degrees overcast weather, so I winterized it. We missed all the warm days in October, and this was the first weekend below 50 degrees. It really stinks to pass up great glassy water and a lake all to myself! Took the pier out next and the lift gets pulled by a service. Will be back in April.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171029/197562f0f29646a9fef086c6fa1137c9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171029/5542430c7125b5855e2f86714ab829a8.jpg

Pretty darn easy. Pop off engine cover and back by alternator 2 coolant lines are labeled “to heater” and “from heater.”

Piece of cake. Bought HeaterCraft 200 kit from Wakemakers including recirculating pump. Wiring was pretty easy too. Sawing 2 4” holes in your boat interior is kinda fun. The unit is small and can fit lots of places.

More photos of the unit installed and where you put it, if you have them would be great.

It’s right behind the vents you see. On the floor. There’s a flip up seat back there with an empty space beneath it. So I had to remove the mechanism for the flip up seat back to get in there. There’s a small space just behind the batteries that it fit perfectly into.

So the hose from the unit to the pull out tubes you see is only 6” long—it’s literally all right there.

This space is unique to the Supra SE I would imagine. But it’s perfect. Otherwise the heater is quite small and could be put/hung in many places.

In other words—to take a pic of it I would have to take it back apart, which isn’t happening unless it breaks.

SA and SE should have the same space under the flip up seat beneath the plastic tray.

There you go—if you have that space you’re set up just like mine. If not, it is small enough that you could easily place it in one of several spots.
