View Full Version : Gravity Light Switches?

Hi guys, a few months in the new boat now and finally getting around to asking this. Next to the Bertha/Gravity ballast switches there is another switch panel that has Supra and Gravity branding on it with two switches, one that says "Front" and one that says "Rear" or "back" or something to that effect. There might be more wording/branding, but I'm not near my boat right now and am going off of memory.

Question is, I assume these are for lights? Anybody have these? I have a Mako light bar with lights that don't work. No lights come on the switches when I flip them either. I have done a cursory check of wiring while on the water, everything seems to be plugged in and connected. I keep throwing this into the "winter project" bucket, but I guess I wanted to make sure I was even on the right path of thinking those are light switches in the first place, and see if anyone else had these installed.

I'll add a pic this weekend when I get out on the boat.

Pics definitely would help with any ambiguity, here

Haha, yeah I know...will get these Sunday when I'm back at the boat. Got antsy and figured I would try first without anyways...anyone that had them would probably know what I'm talking about, can't miss 'em!

Here’s the pics of the switches. Upon actually seeing it it’s obviously for lights. Only thing I can think of is the tower lights, which don’t work. All the plugs are tight in the back and nothing obviously wrong with any connections until it disappears into the tower. Looks like I’ll just have to dive deeper into it this winter. The breakers on the switch panel weren’t tripped and I couldn’t find any other fuzes anywhere. Frustrating.

Well, just to close the loop on this thread, I finally diagnosed the problem. After contorting myself between the captain's chair and under the dash, I found an in-line fuze in one of the wires. The giveaway was that the switches weren't lighting up when flipping them, so realized they weren't getting power in the first place.

So, pretty simple fix in the end!

Bonus - all the lights still worked.
