When I turn my 04 xlv hard to the right the prop seems to cavitate. I know its not but what would cause this burst of RPM's. Has anyone had this happen?

My '05 Outback DD does the same thing when I am pulling tubers. It only happens sometimes, and usually as I am going through my own chop.

As you go over the chop in a hard turn, you can slide over substantial air pockets. I have noticed them in both directions on occasion. I only notice it when driving with no ballast.
