Boat trailer squeak

Hey guys my boat trailer squeaks a lot. I have noticed it mostly when I am turning. It is a 2013 boat mate tandem axel.

Do you know if these are supposed to be greased each year or if the bearings are enclosed or…?

Are your hubs oil bath or grease hubs? Being the trailer is a 2013, it is probably about time for a service on at least the hubs. Also, the trailer probably has surge brakes, they tend to squeak some when you stop and on initial take off.

Is it leaf spring or torsion axle? Leaf springs can start "squeak" .

I have the Leaf and it does squeak more then torsion.

Only thing you can do is lube the rubber inserts for the springs to the mounting shackles.

I miss the torsion axles on last year's trailer, the leafs sure do squeak a lot more, a little annoying, how does that go , it's hard to look cool when your stuff sounds broke
