Hi there, I'm looking to replace the Sony radio CDX-M6OUI that came with my 2013 LSV, it hasn't worked properly since the second summer with the boat! I'd like to get something that is compatible with the Remote commander RM-x60m that also came with the boat. Anyone have a recommendation (reasonably priced) replacement that is bluetooth and works with the Remote commander that is hooked up near the drivers seat? Or should I just scrap the Remote Commander and get a bluetooth stereo?

Any input and recommendations appreciated!

I replaced with this

You will lose the LCD on the rmx60 but will work .it works with both the 60 and the rxm 11 transom remote

Sony no longer offers a unit thats fully functional with LCD display remotes. As Joe pointed out, the display power cable is left hanging.

I replaced al my stuff with the Kenwood 318BT media hub and 55MR remote and 7m cable. You canusually buy it all on amazon for under $200 and it works great as long as you don't want a CD player.

Ok, looks like I'll get a new radio... The comparable one that sells in Canada Crutchfield is the Sony MEX-M70BT. The next question is, will there be any issues connecting to my default amp that came with the boat that connects my 2 tower speakers. Boat is a couple hours away (can't quickly check), so I'm not sure what model the amp is, but it's the default one, and I'm sure is crummy to most ears, but I'll keep it for now. I'm thinking (hoping) it should connect with cables already there (unplug from old radio, and plug into new one(, but as you guessed, I know nothing about audio... Seriously appreciate the help!!

you can connect the rcas directly to the old amp, unfortunately you will have to rewire the ground ,power, and remote wire as the harness does not quite match up.
