i am sure that some one has asked this question before but i cant find it i am looking for a perfect pass for my 06 outback v i call the local dealer and they wanted $2000.00 is cheaper any where else and can i install it myself

I got mine for about 1350 at my dealer. Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro. I know that's probably not what they go for typically, but my wife arranged it for my B-day and she loves to negotiate. She probably promised we'd buy a new boat thist summer (which we did).

Did you ask for a discount? If you don't ask, you don't get. Doesn't hurt to try.

You should be able to buy it direct or anywhere online for $1000 to about $1300 depending on the model and options. I believe that PP also gives a $100 discount to members of waterskiing clubs and members of groups like AWSA. Maybe someone else here knows more about that and can comment. $2K seems way out of line even if the dealer were to do the install.
