Is there a difference between low retail and trade in value ?

The other two column seem to match up well average retail and high retail

The low retail is to give you an idea what you should get.

Trade in is exactly that, you have to leave meat on the bone for the dealer.

No difference then trading your car.

Does dealer have a different access to nada values.?

mine says low retail , his sheet says trade in value. I assume they are the same but they don't jive. why cant I see trade values?

Dealer is probably using a different version

Every time I buy a truck I go through what your going through.

Dealer is always going to use the lowest number on buy and the highest on retail.

This is why they say you make your money when you buy not sell

If your buying from him then make the deal so what ever money you want on your old boat is taken off the new boat price.

Then essentially your getting what you want and he's getting what he wants.

His numbers have to jive on paper. If he over pays on your used boat then he rubs the risk of the next buyer not getting financed due to the numbers on paper the bank wants to see

Is nada really a good resource on a boat? Seems like when putting in a boat it does not reflect wake boat stuff.

I rely on NADA to base an approximate price on something to get started but there are so many factors that still need to be factored in. I found the best prices on boats, cars, motorhomes etc is during an economic downturn which may be awhile. In 2009, I bought my toys at about half the NADA.
