Anybody know where the impeller is on the Raptor 400? My dealer wants $250 to change it when they winterize this fall. Seems pricey for a $50 part but I could be wrong depending on where it's located.

You should be able to just follow the cold water intake
It's belt driven
You should only have alternator, water pump (closed cooling) and Impeller pump for cold intake to cool the closed cooking system lol

Raptor motor water pump is not belt driven. Look in manual it shows a picture of its location.

I wasn't aware it was electric.
None the less you can follow the fresh water intake hose to find the impeller housing.

Not electric either. It is on the front( back of boat) of engine. Directly mounted to the crank shaft. I front of the ceank pulley. So as mmandley stated follow belt to bottom most pulley. If you look on the indmar site they have a good picture of it.

Thank you all! I'm pretty handy and I'm sure I can swap it myself.
