It seems that our bags are taking longer to fill than when it was new. Is there a strainer on the bag lines? 2016 Mondo surf edition

I don't believe there is a strainer as they are three separate intakes. Check your impellers to see if they are missing blades or just warn out.

If you open the engine hatch, do you see black hoses against transom going to the back lockers?

Should have two pumps on one side behind rear panel and one on the other side or all three together. Three screws to remove; one up top and two at the bottom

It's probably the impellers. My center wouldn't fill up, bought a few new ones & found my center impeller was missing all but 1 finger.
2 behind port locker (center/port) & 1 behind starboard locker (starboard)

Do you think that would be possible with a new boat, 40 hrs on it ?

Sure, if they were run too long dry, you may have burned the impeller.

No doubt. It could happen in the first hour.
