Supplied windshield mounted mirror keeps falling

I have a 2016 Moomba Mondo, the supplied/OEM windshield mounted mirror cant be tightened and does not stay upright. I have used the Allen wrench to tighten the bottom piece but it only tightens the grip on the windshield, does not do anything to prevent the mirror from falling down. There are no other knobs or Allen wrench screws to tighten.
Any idea how I can tighten it before I go and buy a new one.

No junk the mirror and buy a new one. The factory one is terrible.

You can take it apart and tighten it up. It is kind of a pain but if you don't want to replace it, you can tighten it up. I had to do this on my 14 Outback and it works fine now.
