I currently have the 2775 acme prop, which 15 x 12.5. I was wondering if this is the best prop for surfing. I am not concerned with top end, but want the best PROP for surfing. I was also wondering if anyone knew best setup for ballast.
I have a 2015 se 450 supra 25 ft. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

That prop should give you a ton of low end power for surfing, do they even make anything geared lower?

It actually does pretty good, but when I recently left the boat dealer to transfer the engine warranty into my name the mechanic made a comment that I should get a different prop.?

Yes. I have the same prop. ACME told me that if I needed more torque to go to the acme 2949 which has 11 pitch instead of 12.5. He said it would also increase my rpms so not to switch unless the 2775 wasn't working for me.

I ran the 2775 in my SE. Wakesurf the prop seemed great, wakeboard I was never satisfied with the plane speed with a loaded boat. I looked into the 2777, but never made the change.

I had my prop repitched at one point from 12.5 to 11 and ended up back with a regular unaltered 2775.

I had a 2775 when I got my boat and just switched to a
ACME 2951. Sometimes with the 2775 when weighted and 6 people it would have trouble getting to 11.3 the 2951 fixed that.

ACME Recommended the next step up from the 2775 is the 2951.

Here is the prop table from wake makers.

Acme told me to ignore the wakemakers table and always call them directly to make sure. There are a couple props between the 2775 and the 2951 and some might work better for a particular person and their situation.

That 2951 has a sick pitch and I can see how kick ass it would be. I do wonder what your WOT rpms are now...

Also, anybody considering a prop change should read this post from Indmar. It makes a lot of sense and I hadn't considered it before.

Hey Guys thanks for all the input and Wakemakers pretty much confirmed that the prop I have now the 2775 is the best prop for what I am wanting to do and that if I went with more pitch could rev the RPMS to much. I am not in any altitude. Living in Louisiana.
