Not sure if I'll get any bites here, there doesn't seem to be a lot of hardcore wakeboarders anymore (not saying I am one either), now that surfing has pretty much taken over. Like most of you, skiing and wakeboarding is what started my love for the water. Lately surfing just hasn't been scratching that itch for me like it once did. I've been wakeboarding a lot more lately and surprisingly still have a few inverts and spins in my jaloppy old bag of tricks. I'm starting to take it a little more seriously and figure I should put a more that 30 seconds thought into setting up the boat.
As it is now, I fill the center and ibs 100%, fill my enzo's to roughly 60%, wakeplate all the way up and speed at 21 mph. I also have about 400# of steel in the nose that. Rope length at 60' or 65'. I take off two sections but its been so long that i cant even remember what a full length rope is... haha. Wake is way better than anything I remember riding in my younger days. It's nice and meaty, good transition, and boosts me big time. That being said, I'm sure it can be in proved on if I put in a little effort.
Anyone wakeboard being a craz? How do you set it up? DFTR I know you're still living the dream, maybe you can help me out!
