Phase 5 Diamond, Diamond LTD, Matrix

Looking to finally spend the cash and get a legit board. Been riding the burley buzz for a while and I think I got all I can out of it. Any thoughts on these boards?

I'd suggest the Matrix, but you won't be disappointed with any of those boards.

I have the Daniello Diamond. I don't ride any of my other boards anymore. But you better love skim. I have never taken to the surf style and do really love the skim feel. If that's you then you can't go wrong.

I haven't taken to the surf either. Skim is the way for me. Now I just have to convince the wife. Any difference between diamond ltd and diamond

I have the diamond and love it! I jump back and forth between my doomswell for surf and DD for skim. I also have a hyperlite hifi for skim and its not even close to the DD in terms of speed and quality.

I have a Danielo Hammerhead. It is a blast.

Is the fin setup on a skim board as important as it is on a surf board? Made a big difference on my Doomswell...any specific fins I should look at for a P5 skim board?

That's where I got them. The blue ones are the ones you want. There was a whole big discussion on fins on here but it was buried on like page 5 of a thread that didn't start out talking about fins... We should probably start separate thread to share more info. I think they made a pretty big difference in my Doomswell.
