Bilge Pump stopped working?

Noticed my fitting popped off on my starboard bag, flooded my engine compartment but my bilge never turned on. I had my portable pump so I was able to pump it all out but curious to see if these things go bad? I checked the breaker under the dash and it was fine.

The one in my 13 went bad. Basically it wouldn't auto start, then when I forced it on with the switch it had low pressure.

Replaced it no more issues.

Yippy might check the strainer, there is a knob on the case to force it on as well.
