I bet you they redesign the Mondo so it's a 21' boat. I don't think it makes sense to have 2 20' boats. At least at 21' it could still fit on size restricted lakes.

Master Craft released a new model and have some teasers up on their site. Malibu has been hinting to a new replacement for their aging LSV, but nothing public yet. MB says they have a redesign, but nothing yet, Tige has been quiet.

With the new Helix and SR I'm curious to see what SC has up their sleeves for 2018.

Supra is guilty also with sg, sa, sc, se

The Helix and Mondo might be close to the same length but very different. Based on the comments in the 8 pages a bigger brother to the Helix maybe? The craze and mojo aren't in the mid $60s so it can't be a big brother to them even though that would be awesome.

Agreed. Especially if you are going to release new models mid-summer.
I would think building as much hype and pre-production demand as possible makes more sense.
The tease of an upcoming new model, with all the right looks and features, might keep a new buyer from shopping the competition.
Demand must be created for a luxury item. Nobody NEEDS a new boat.
I kinda doubt all of the cloak and dagger stuff adds zeros to the correct column on the balance sheet.
Just my .02 cents, but what do I know.

You guys must not remember the live feed unveilings a few yrs ago when they all crashed. It's a production nightmare that adds a lot of cost and probably little value. My guess is that they want the dealers educated on the boats so they can best serve customers and that come to take a look. There are just a few boneheads that can't follow direction that have created this issue.

I'm fairly certain you missed my point....when you have 3 big time boat companies in the same area, business is done a little different....but yes, in and around Knoxville, you'll see 5 of all the other boats to every 1 Nautique, Ski Supreme, Centurion, MB or anything else out there. Yes, I do understand that Correct Craft has more market share than Skiers Choice, but they aren't as popular around here. The Knoxville area also has SeaRay, Yamaha, Heyday and a few others. So new technology and offerings to market for upcoming years have to be kept somewhat secret. Most all the car companies do it, why shouldn't boat companies?

No...Release date is looking like very early August, Formally. Some teases between now and then. Sorry for the delay. :(

Normal release are usually in August to allow dealers to complete their 2017 sales as strongly as they can - before we bring out the next years items. Dealers do see the boats in July, so they know what to order and there in lies the opportunity for inadvertent leaks. It happens. No biggie.

I kinda like the names Mojo, Mondo and Helix is so/so. Craz is kinda cool. But there is already a Mojo Surf Max so having a boat called Max seems like it would create product confusion. Not worth the hassle. Should have called it the Elixir or something closer to Helix cuz it looks like that model.

Hard to buy new models below MSRP as there are people standing behind you willing to pay MSRP and sometimes higher. I can't compete with those people. The first year model always has bugs to work out. I was actually looking at a 2017 Craz, but based on the pricing they offered, I was expressing my disbelief that the new "Max" will be anywhere near the numbers posted previously. Not really an issue, as I don't have a dog in this fight, and have just about recovered from my new boat fever.

Agreed and understood.
And a "well equipped" Craz at my local dealer is priced at $76k.
My point was that I have a hard time seeing the Max priced in the low $60's in my neck of the woods. That's all.
But again, I'm just a tire kicker.

This was my thought exactly. Looks like with those there is little to no room to add another set above them if you need more storage. I personally like the look of our current racks better.

Chester, Not sure where this July 20 date came from...I think a dealer took a guess a few weeks back, and told some customers. Our goal is to release ongoing info over the next few weeks with the current plan to have most key info out by early August. Hope that helps.

I don't understand the problem a lot of people have with the naming of Moomba boats. When you hear the Moomba names, there is no mistaking what's being discussed. Unlike with most all other manufacturers names being a lot of confusing letters and numbers!

I follow nautique and their boats are super easy. Super air 210, super air 230. 21' and 23'. G21, g23, g25. Everyone knows g series and length follows. GS series is the same.

Malibu has vlx 21 and 22. Mxz 21 and 22. Lsv 23 and 25. Different hulls but the length is straight forward.

Axis has t and x series with length listed.

Moomba has some nice boats, but I think their naming system is less helpful compared to other companies. Not saying it's bad at all. It's actually neat that moomba tries to go a different direction. Also anyone in their right mind should do a little investigating into all of these brands before spending the kind of money these companies are charging for boats these days, imho.

Give me a helix beam width, interior bow design of helix, but hull under bow like mondo so I can displace a ton, literally a ton, and another 2400 in the rear with simple controls and hig torque prop and I'm in...make the best wakesurf budget blow 3k on gas a year boat with a decent wakeboard wake and I'm in...surf system is actuators ans aluminum bent plates. Boats are fibreglass and price should be comparable on weight else your paying for cup holders. I'll pay for surf and wake

Shooting in the dark , but I would think it has to do with sensing how deep in the water your boat is, might be way off but that be my guess, funny was just thinking today how nice it would be to have 4000k in ballast , have a setting for auto wake to tell how much of ballast you want to use , if your loaded with people you could set your pitch and roll and have do it only using 1/2 to 3/4 of ballast, and if your running a small crew , same thing but have use all available ballast
