I have what I believe to be 2 factory rear bags that I can put in the right locker and/or in the center, and a pro x series 1180 in left rear locker. I am thinking about moving the factory bags to under the front seats. The factory center bag is missing. Do I need a center, if so what size or can. Or move one factory to the left front and the other in the center. I tried sunday, filling the 1180 and and put a bag in the center. Need to get the nose down some. I got up, and was able to move forward and backwards...I am a newbie at surfing...

What would be best, I don't mind having to buy a bag, just trying to use what I have at my disposal currently and add to it if needed.
Just bought the boat from another forum member sunday

It's not you, it's just hard to decipher exactly what you are saying. I "think" your factory bags are 400's and all the same. The center locker under the floor should be easily replaced with one of the rear ones. It is very important to have that one full to get some weight up front. If you are running an 1180 in the L rear locker you will need even more front weight. I would find a way to put your other 400 up front either in the walkway or on or under the seats. Then move some people around.

Your best bet is to run almost equal in the rear lockers-- maybe 80-90% on the surf side. Then have your center locker full and an IBS under the front seats. Add a suckgate (you can make for under $40) on the opposite side and you will love your surf wave.

I have 2 factory bags that I can place anywhere. I currently have one in the center locker, and one in the starboard rear.
The 1100 in in the port locker.

So, move the port 400 bag to under the left front seat, fill the center and 1100.
Or get bags of equal size for the rear, 400 in the center, and get a IBS or something to work under the front seats.
Or try to fill the 1100 to match the 400 on the other side, 400 in center, and IBS

I am working on a suck gate, I have everything but the cutting board. Not sure on what thickness to purchase.

You have to decide if you want to run listed, meaning very hard to the left (surf) side and harder to drive. Or, if you want to run a little more level and use the suckgate. Either way, you will need to get weight up front. The center locker is the best thing to do first. Then see if you can rig your extra 400 bag to use under the front seats. Long term I would shoot for adding a matching bag (to your 1180) in the rear (BTW, I don't see how you can fill an 1180 anyway-- probably wouldn't buy larger than a 900 if it was me for the other side) and adding an IBS under the bow seats. Then run full on the surf side and about 80-90% full on the non-surf side withe the suckgate deployed on the off side. Use wakeplate, speed and people to dial in from there.

The 1180 Pops the hatch and I shut it off. I am more than likely going to purchase two matching bags for the rear and ditch the 1180.
The other two bags are high fly Side Sacs, so they are not original to the boat. I need to measure them to get a true idea on size/weight

Looks like I can get 2 rear 400lb bags from wakemakers for $229. The 750s are $169/apiece, and I don't think they will fit though. They have a 910lb bag buster kit (950s for both side) for $459 but I think that might be overkill.

Good to Know! That changes the game a little

Your smaller LSV is the same hull as some of the later Outback V (up to about 2009 or so I think). So a pair of 750's is about all you can fit and then a long 400 for under the floor. Then you can wait on IBS and purpose an older bag for that or go ahead and get the one that fits. Feel free to call Wakemakers for advice. They can be very helpful and can offer tips on how to use what you have as well. The 1180 has value and can be sold on the classifieds right on this site. Good luck!

I called wakemakers, and the bag that I had thought was a 1180, ended up being a 750. the 2 smaller bags are 260s.
According to Bryan, he suggested another 750, and a 400 for the locker (just as kaneboats did, I want to point out)
he said it will be doable with the 750s and 400 with a shaper and to try it out.

He also suggested the IBS or using the 260s I have now under the front seats to make it better.

They also have a kit for the rear lockers now that comes with 910 bags.

Is there a discount code for wakemakers?

Does anyone know the dimensions of the ski locker in the 05 Mobius LSV?
Wakemakers suggested a 62x16x10 for the locker. However I have a 260 in there nowaccording to them and its 48x12x12 and it takes up the whole locker!
I don't see how the 62" bag will fit in there.
I don't have access to the boat (1hr from me) to measure it.

Anyone have any idea on the size? What I researched the boat came stock with a 277lb bag, but can't find the dimensions of it or the locker dimensions.

You want two of these 750s:

And unless I'm mistaken this is the IBS:

Right about the two 750's. I think that IBS is too big. Maybe someone with the older OBV or LSV will chime in. If someone has the 2006 or newer LSV it is bigger all the way around.

If it was me I'd go with the 750's and a 400 center then use the two 260's up front as my IBS and get a suckgate. That way you are using what you have instead of the most expensive new bag (IBS).

I am going to order the 750 and a hose kit.
However I am unsure about the 62" bag fitting the ski locker. I need someone with the same boat to verify. I currently have a 48" in there and I think it takes up the whole locker. Key word, think. Boat is an hour drive away or I would verify the measurement myself.

Anybody know if the 62" bag fits... I am ready to make a wakemakers order!

I have this exact setup on my 2005 LSV. Works really well, just need the gate to finish it off. I agree that it would be really difficult to get an IBS around the top point of your bow without some sort of modification.

My 750 and 400 bags came in yesterday. I got my suckgate built!
I am going to see how it does with thw 750s and 400 with the suck gate.
I will plumb in the 260s if needed!

Last Sunday:
750 Port Rear
260 Center
No Gate
1 adult and 4 year old on board however washed out with the adult in drivers seat and me behind boat

2nd time surfing ever, was able to get slack in the rope consistently.

Will get pics with both the 750s and 400 in the center with gate this weekend!

First picture was before with 750 port and 260 center full without suck gate. 2 people in the boat. Washed out once I got in the water.

Second picture is 750 port full, 750 stb about half to 2/3, and 400 center full and with suck gate. 3 extra people on board. Got even better when the wifey, 125lbs, showed up and I put her and my daughter in the front.

Went ropeless 10+ minutes numerous times without a problem. Weight and suck gate are key. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170731/c534c11da75725c7f8690c4c1ba017fd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170731/63944e3bacd14a059f3e7f958fc0df27.jpg

Looks like you are getting it dialed in. Where are you running the wakeplate? With the gate, I run about half way up. Without it I would have to run it all the way up most of the time.

Mostly down. Anything up and it washes out.
