A big thank you to Surfer who sold me his platform pad. Made the change Saturday and it is soooo much better than the old black one that made black stains on my sun pads. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170705/409ea4ecf0d4e42d20c9fe4dac2dc4d2.jpg

I have the same issues with the corners, they are starting to lift. Any suggestions on how to get the corners back down?

The new one came with the the adhesive on it. It just peeled back the paper and applied. Not sure what you would use to stick an original back down. Sorry. Can't help you on this one

How did you remove the old material and adhesive?

I peeled the old pad back, which came off pretty easy. Then I used mineral spirits to soak the remaining adhesive. It turned it into a gelatin form. I took my plastic scraper and it just came off. Did it twice to make sure it was all off. Then I used acetone to clean it before the new pad went on. Worked great.
You can also use you tube to watch the video from
SeaDek. Was really helpful in the process.
