With all the rain, our 400 acre lake in Northern Wisconsin is now probably closer to a 450 acre lake! Here's a pic from last summer versus this morning. We've got a long, sloping sandy beach and have lost about 20' feet of beach with all the extra water, which is awesome 'cause keeping that much beach clean (i.e., weed pulling) is work that I'd rather skip to get more boat time :)

bet the fox river is still flowing hard and muddy..

was on lucky peak in boise idaho last weekend and it hasn't filled up yet. still siphoning off tons of water due to the snowpack and thinking this weekend will be the first weekend it's full. should be a long water year there.

Where in Wisconsin? What's the water temp. I'm heading up to Woodruff next week?

Our place is on Anvil Lake just east of Eagle River (10 min east on 70 heading towards the UP), so we're not that far from you guys. Our ~400 acre lake is not that deep (probably max depth of 25 feet) and generally a sandy bottom. Water temp today was 72 degrees, which is colder than it should be at this time of the year, but it will generally get to ~85 in August. Hope you have a great week up here, the weather is supposed to be pretty much all sun starting tomorrow for a week :)

Hey Chester,

Nope, not us .... Our LSV lives up at the Lake all summer on our covered hoist, and we store it with the dealer in Minocqua (Stengl Marine). We dropped it on the lake in early May so if you saw another silver flake & red LSV on the road this weekend it must another LSV owner with impeccable taste :)

Haha well played! Yeah they passed me yesterday around Merrill and gave me the 🤙. Also, to contribute to the thread, my lake in Arbor Vitae is the highest it's been since 96. Crazy to see that the lakes have come back up

Here around Salt Lake all of the lakes are at max capacity. It was a great snow year with lots of water so we are loving it. Lake Powell is 15ft up from this time last year.

I was hauling a kayak up north last week. Went up the 2nd and came back the 8th. We are on Post Lake. Water temps 73 in the morning, up to 78 in the evenings last week.

Sheesh. Our river has been fast and muddy for months from all the rain.

Was up in Arbor Vitae, on big Arb, last week. Water temps were in the upper 60s when we arrived and lower 70s when we left. Cool nights seem to be keeping temps down. I'll be back up in Lac du Flambeau next week. Temps look good.
