View Full Version : Boatmate Trailers

Just wanted to give a shout out to Boatmate. I purchased a 2105 Mojo and as the second owner the 5 year warranty was void.

One of my fenders bent because of someone standing on it, I didn't know that you're not supposed to stand on the fender. So Boatmate stepped up as a goodwill gesture and is sending me a new fender. Not to mention that the trailer is REALLY nice.

Between Skiers Choice and Boatmate, they have really taken care of me as the second owner. Many thanks!!

Always great to hear the positive stories.

That's great to hear. But don't fenders have step pads? I'm pretty sure my single axle trailer does.

They do but he said the pads are just for looks, I didn't know that.

Can't the warranty be transferred 1 time for a fee?

The Indmar warranty can, which I did, but not the trailer or boat.

Others trailers I have had came with a sticker between the wheels on the fender that said "This is not a step." Boatmate not only builds some damn good trailers but their customer service is five star.

compared to the trailer I had that was made by a local in SLC, boatmate rocks...
when I ordered a side mount spare tire carrier in the orange color on the trailer, they not only painted it to match but had it shipped to me in under 3 weeks. service department is pretty awesome.
I believe if you search there are several threads of torsion axle failures on boatmate trailers in the mid/late '00's and most were taken care of in some fashion even if warranties had expired..

besides, how can you not love a company that makes this:

They are good. I just thought it was funny that they say you shouldn't stepmom the genders, but put on skid pads on them.
