I have a 2016 Craz that came from factory with two Roswell tower speakers. I would like to add two speakers to the tower. There are two more holes on each side with rubber plugs just to the inside of the current speakers. When plugs are pulled out, there are wires connected to them. I am assuming these are available for adding speakers. Can anyone tell me where the other end of these wires are. I am sure I will need to add an amp for the new speakers but I can't find where these are going. Thanks!

I would start by finding the bass of the tower where the speaker wires come through the deck. Very common for the pre-wired tower harness to terminate there and the unused wires are bundled up.

The OEM installed amp is typically a 2 chnl amp. Thats all that needed to drive a 2nd pair of OEM speakers. Is it going to push them to their potential? Thats debatable, but it will drive them.

On a 17 craz the speaker wires come out the port side of the tower , mine had about two feet of slack after it came out of the base of the tower , and were bundled up behind the cabin speakers , the starboard side has some wires that come out as well, but I believe those are for if you added a light bar

I posted the Craz tower wiring diagram a while back

Stazi... Do you know where I could find that post? Also, I'm thinking about adding Wetsounds Rev 8's or Rev 10's to go with the factory Roswells. That's why I thought another amp may be handy. Thanks for all the good info guys!

The A2 wiring schematic is higher up on that same page of the topic

We really need to make a sticky out of those two wiring diagrams

With a pair of Rev-10 and a solid amp, you will not need those existing speakers. The larger 10" speaker is going to dominate ANYTHING up there next to it. Not worth the battery juice to drive the other speakers.

That is kind of what I was thinking also. Thanks for the information!

MLA...I was on a cruise out of Charleston a few years ago and a man created a drink in the competition on the first day and it was called "Lake Wylie Water!"

For future reference, I traced extra wires from tower all the way back to where the amp is mounted. They terminate into a white wiring harness along with the wires that come from the factory tower speakers. Also, will the Kicker 200.2 amp that came in boat push these speakers decent enough until I can get a better one?

I guess I forgot to state that by "these speakers" I meant Rev 10's. I ordered them and then went ahead and ordered the Wet Sounds HTX-4 to push them.

Got my equipment and got it in last night. Can't wait to hear it in the water!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170617/10f247c122f3056b07856822b776bab4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170617/15d337a940b1e41a8b5e68e381ceeb0c.jpg

Hate to say it, but you should rotate those amp 180* and put the terminals down. I know, the factory installed amp was already installed that way.

Curious - thought being the side with the terminals is more vulnerable to water?

How are those speakers mounted, I can't see clamps and they look nice and close to the tower very clean looking.

I ordered them with the x-mounts. They come with the threaded plates installed in top of speaker, so I just removed the factory Roswell speakers and bolted them right back in their place. The tower has 3 holes from left to right across the plate, so I used the middle one for the front of speakers and drilled a new one for the rear hole.

Has anybody had any luck routing tower speaker wires to the back top bar on the tower. I opened up the middle top where it is bolted together but seems like it is sealed.

I don't think you can route them to the back tower bar. We have 4 Rev10s on our new Mojo, two in the standard spot and 2 on the front tower bar inside and the staggered look actually looks nice
