View Full Version : Need troubleshoot help- no output from Exile Javelin

Hey all. I have a 30.2 powering exile towers and the Javelin running the in boats and sub. All of a sudden, no output from the Javelin to sub or in boats. No fuse blown (that I know of -- I don't see any fuses externally on the amp). Amp powers on, indicator light is blue (not red for fault) -- so not a power or remote turn on issue. No config switches have been changed and I know it's not the zld2 because I switched the tower rca's to the cabin output and they played fine.

Any suggestions?

And when you take the RCAs from the 30.2 and switch to the Javelin you get nothing still?

Unfortunately, not enough extra slack in my rca runs to switch them at the amp rack. I have some couples and extra rca cables at home but I won't have them back here at the lake/boat for a couple weeks.

Or switch em at the head unit :)

On the ZLDII it has an AUX button on it.

Make sure that's not on because it will cause your problem

Just ran into it again the other day lol

Aux switch would prevent any sound would it not? Towers play fine through the 30.2. Just no output through javelin. Already switched rca's at the zld2 -- cabin output plays fine through the 30.2 and towers. Also, not likely a broken rca because both the sub and in boats have nothing and are on separate runs.

Sorry I misunderstood I thought you had no output.

I would call Donavan at Exile in the AM

Could be an internal issue on the amp

Bump for update.

It was a bad amp (Javelin)....which Exile promptly replaced no questions. As with many others, shout out to them for good customer service.

I'm always shocked by just how well they treat me and how good the customer service is. Also really love the products. Glad your experience was good as well.
