Hello everyone. I am picking up a 2017 Supra SE 550 from the factory today. I am going to be testing it stock, surf and wakeboard wakes, and then I have plenty of goodies to throw in there to have some serious fun. I am going to be doing lots of filming and surfing back across the country.

I am looking for some baseline setups for wakeboard and wakesurf, mostly wakesurf. I would love to see some pictures to go with them, if possible. Of course, I will share all of my setups such as I go.

Any help appreciated.

I was wondering when you'd show up on this forum. I've been following your videos and advice for years. We're lucky to have you. For some reason the supra forum seems to be more geared towards the older ski boats. I think you'll find the moomba forum will give you a lot more feedback. Also, there is a "supra and moomba boat owners" facebook page. Lots of great discussion on there... let's see the new ride!

Robert welcome to the forum

(Mike Mandley)

I was hoping you would venture to the forum since you own a Supra now.

I've personally known the Ragboy crew.for 8 years now, they actually helped teach Claudia what a goofy wave feels like so she could help me dial our boat in.

He's part of the reason I know so much about waves, Ragboy is a wealth of information.

He knows ballast, weighting boats, boards, surfing techniques. We are very fortunate he's taking time to join us.

Ps Robert of I had the time this weekend I'd drive up and say hello but unfortunately I don't.
Best wishes with your cross country boating on your way back to Cali

Can't wait to see the SE550 you guys captured. Friend of mine was 100% on his fronts and got custom bags to fit port and starboard as much as he could. I don't remember the ratios but it was mind blowing surf. Welcome to skiers choice and look forward to your videos. Was stoked on all the love you guys shared for Supra during your boat review videos last year.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I have some "friends" helping me out. [emoji6]

I have a set of prototype "plug and wake" bags from Wakemakers to install, this should take the system to 4700 lbs and I have 500 lbs of lead LeadWake to give me the ability to dial in, supplement the front or whatever. I will be posting details and video as I go.

Beautiful lake might as well hit up Dale Hollow Lake and Lake Cumberland as well lakes are plentiful in that area.

Sweet looking boat!!! Love the triple axle trailer and the color scheme is right on the money. A black 2017 F250 Super Duty would look pretty sweet in front of that new float:cool:

Do you have air bags in the back of that f150 ragboy? I've got a 16 f150 and my little craz has my rear end slumping way more than that!
