So I had a custom flag made its a 3'×5' but I'm having trouble finding a pole that will mount to the tower any suggestions?

I use these, I also have a 3x5 Flag I fly all the time.

This has several mounting points for the pin to hold it in place making it easy to get the perfect angle for your flag.

I made my own using flat and round tube steel. Put a little angle on tube then welded to flat steel, removed speaker's drilled holes in flat to match speaker mount holes then sandwiched holder between speaker and tower. Wanted something high on tower that would not interfere with bimini. My welding is not the best so i think i might have a shop make some with aluminum.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170510/1f730debd3393b21497e21f591944810.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170510/38c68b0cdb89f47478358071e422f4f2.jpg

I have the same flag holders that Mike has (although I think they're cheaper on Ebay).

For poles, I actually found some gray plastic tubing that would be used for irrigation or plumbing. I got it at home depot. it's pretty rigid, with just a little bit of flex to it. I put some caps on the top to give it a smidge more of a finished look. It was super easy to drill holes in the plastic pipe and use zip ties to mount the flags.

I've since moved my flag mounts to not interfere with my overhead board racks... You can see the new flag location starboard vs the old location port.

+1 on the Bullet Lines flag holder. It's easy to install, and allows you to lock the collar at different angles depending on where you mount it on your tower so you can get the flag pole vertical. I guess my smaller flag means I probably harbor a small amount of "flag envy" versus the 3'x5' flags that Trayson and Mmandley have, but I'll get over it :)

I used broom handles with hook hole on top that swivels that way I could use snap rings to attach flag spins freely.

they're expensive, but one of the best solutions I've found. The whole zip ties and PVC pipe I did on my first boat was too ghetto to repeat! LOL.

Kaneboats,

That's a great point, and some sage advice .... but this is where there are some advantages of being on a ~400 acre seepage lake as opposed to being on a chain or a bigger lake: it tends to keep the crazy day boaters AND the police away . In fact, there are only 3 ski/wakeboard boats on our entire lake - our 2014 LSV, my brother in law's 2006 Natique 206, and a beautiful older Malibu. It's a pretty reserved crowd, and late afternoon cocktail cruises is part of the rhythm of lake life up there!

And as long as the driver is sober, everyone else on the boat can be raging alcoholics! LOL

Now you can easily find any pole for your size on the Internet. Actually, I made it myself, and I can say that I saved a lot of money. It takes a lot of time to make this thing, and if you have it, it's better to try to make it yourself. I did it according to the guide from one thread. I also later purchased the US flag and, of course, the light from Amazon for this https://www.amazon.com/Flagpole-Energy-Battery-Illumunation-Vont/dp/B00YBDA7DC/. After all, I have to see how beautiful the flag of my favorite country looks at night. I hope I haven't answered your question and you will solve your problem, my friend. Good luck to you, man!!

Do you know if the tower flag mount work on the fxone if you have the side tow points?

The tower flag mount uses the upper board rack mounts and from what I can tell it should work if you have the side tow points.

How does the bracket for the ProEdge Tower Mount? Do you have any photos? The one on the site is from far away and hard to tell. On the picture for the ProEdge on the site do you happen to know what size Flags and Poles those are? That setup is perfect! TIA

Found these pics, looks good to go with side tow points.

Much prefer this integrated mount over a tube clamp style.

Yeah 3D printing can be fairly strong.

I would prefer SONIC to make a billet version. But I just don’t want a tube clamp.

Installed Supra FX-One Direct Bolt on mount from towerflags.com today. Install was just like advertised direct bolt on using factory bolts, even OBidens clown team couldn't screw it up. Mount is 3D and engineered with no sharp sides to fray rope and plenty of clearance for side surf rope use. Tower completely lowers with no interference from mount. Flag poles maid from aluminum and screw in and out of mount easily with no tools needed. Over and under tower covers do not touch pole mount at all. Side note, my 36" poles can lower tower for under bridge clearance without hitting windshield but must be removed to lower tower completely.
