So...drifted a little close to shore (depth finder showed 3.5ft, which has never been an issue before) and upon restart and takeoff, I kicked up mud and possibly hit something. Boat ran fine, but we were cruising really slow, once we got moving, the wheel started vibrating horribly. I can turn the rudder, and the boat turns, as long as I'm under about 10mph, and above 10mph it quits shaking if i turn the steering wheel; I could drive full speed in a circle and no vibration. Small (1/2 inch) nick in prop and doesn't appear to have been bent, nor is the rudder.

Thoughts? 2005 Mobius LSV

As well, I bought a new ACME 1617 but my boatmate trailer doesn't look like it provides enough clearance, looks to need about half an inch...

1/2 inch nick in prop is enough damage to cause considerable vibration.

Add spacers to your rear bunks on the trailer. Should give you the clearance for a larger prop.
