Looking for info on 2014 Mondo

I hope I'm posting this in the correct forum. I am looking at a 14 mondo and have some questions. I have been looking for a V drive for a while but no specific brand.

Is there anything I need to watch for on a 14 mondo? It has 30 hours on it and although I haven't seen it he claims it is like new.

What options were available on the 14? Any surf options?

Is the 6.2 a lot better than the 5.7 and is it worth moving up a year?

Is there anything else I need to know?

The 5.7 is a good motor and has been around for awhile. I can't tell you the difference between the 2. I do know even with the raptor you need to re prop with lots of weight. So you would have to do the same with the 5.7. I believe 14s had the manual surf tabs. They seem to work but a lot of people use a suck gate with better results.

30 hours? It's not even broke in yet, did he become a paraplegic or something? Why only 30 hours?

Tandem trailer, has some stereo upgrades. I'll ask about ballast. I was curious to know what options there were from factory as he just says "has all options" which means thats likely what the dealer told him and he probably doesn't know.

Unless it has every single option 50k seems high to me knowing a 2017 Helix is about 60k and a base Mondo is probably 65k. Anyone seen a fully loaded Mondo actually sell for over 70k? My boss just bought a loaded 2017 Lund fishing boat, it was $9,000 cheaper than a used 2015 the dealer had on the lot. Boat show incentives are huge.

At $50k is is inline with the market, not many used boats out there right now. I have a couple driving from PA to Ohio Saturday am to check out my 14 Mondo, water test and make offer. It's listed at $49,999 and I get an inquiry every other day

Power wise with upgraded prop it runs well. The 5.7 has been in the last three moombas I have had 07 XLV, 06 LSV and current 14 Mondo.

Upgrading yes, still undecided until it sells. Will be another Moomba or Supra. We don't keep boats long and have had 6 boats in 17 years.
