I'm buying a 2013 LSV and I'd like to know suggestions on the best way to add a ballast sack for a better surf wave on this boat.

Where would you put it? Where to buy it? Does it have its own pump or would you somehow daisy chain it if the stock system to use the stock pumps?

Thoughts?

Bigger bags in rear and under seats OR ghetto gate, wakemakers, up to you.

There are quite a few threads floating around. If you are having trouble with the search function on the forum, I usually go to google and add "site:www.moomba.com" to my search term.

There's also a thread on how to reset your timers on your ballast pumps when you switch to larger bags.

900's or 1100's in the rear. 650 or 750 IBS up front. Ghettogate or Suckgate.

1100's in the rear, made a huge difference for me. Got at Wakemakers.

+1 on the need to upgrade the rear bags and the need for at least a 500lbs IBS. On our 2014 LSV I upgraded my rear bags to 900's then popped the stock 650's under each seat that I fill with a Tsunami pump. The extra weight makes a HUGE difference in the height and length of the wave on our LSV's. Wakemakers is the way to go for all your needs to make sure you get the right bags for a plug & play set of upgrades (and there's a Wakemaker's forum discount floating around here somewhere as well...)
