Has anyone ever decorated their boat with Christmas lights?
Could you find 12V lights or did you have to get a 12V to 120V inverter?
Been asked to join a decorated boat parade thru my chain of lakes.

Start out with an inverter. If you are using LEDs there should be no problem.

I have decorated my golf cart. I used LED strips wired to my second battery I pulled from the boat for the occasion. Some red, some green and a few white. They work great. 8 strips for 8 bucks.

When I lived in Ohio, most of the big cruisers and sailboats used inverters. They had lots of lights.

LED tree lights and a small inverter that plugs into an ACC socket, done.

That's exactly what I do on the roof rack of my Expedition.
