Too funny. Metal flake has been around forever and been used throughout the years. People are attracted to shiny things so I get a lot of complements even after being on the water for 18 years. Repairs are hard to match is the only drawback. I thought the orange with the blue metal flake looked good. Get that baby to stand out and put someone on the back to put on a show.

Great looking build, only concern with all white is the mucky water and nasty lines it will leave on the hull. It stands out on my white hull and can't really see it on the green part of my hull.

The Pacific Blue piping looks better in person. It's barely noticeable in the pics. The wake was with stock back ballast full, center half full, 2 of us in the boat. I'm upgrading the back to 1175s (I think that's what it was). I don't know how to turn the images. They are correct on my computer.

Looking like early February at this time, also planning on doing a tour of the Factory when it's wrapping up. Won't get to get it in the water until May unfortunately but that gives time to install all the extras and have the flooring done!

They were just random builds since I don't get to pick what colors come into the shop. If I was to build I would go very loud blue but the arrangement for 2017 don't include me building a boat this season.

Second guessing my color choice PRETTY HARD right now....after checking out Patrick's Mondo in person (Thanks man, great meeting you finally!) and scouring the web for other Moomba pictures in this color scheme I've got a bad feeling about it. So now I'm probably going to call my dealer and make some changes tomorrow....

Thanks for the pictures!!! I agree the sticker isn't needed in my opinion, and I could go either way with the center color either matching the tower or contrasting the tower. I do plan to tint the windows so that will add to the 'darkness' in the middle of the boat which is why I was leaning to red in the middle to break it all up.

And call me crazy but does anyone else notice that all 3 boats have different gel lines yet are supposed to be the same pattern?

The top one I built shows a gradual curve of the red to the transom, the black and green one is more of a straight line and the last black and red one goes up towards the back then kind of kinks down near the sun deck? How/why is that? And how do I know which one I'll get? LOL

Second guessing my color choice PRETTY HARD right now
The great builder blues, LOL! I love the striker pattern and I do favor the decal myself. Somewhere on here I built a black, white, flake with the decal and man did I get people coming up asking about it. Also what about changing the black to a Dark Graphite, it looks very good in person.

Moombacraze...love it, any concerns on the black hull?
Colored hull is AEWSOME! Be prepared to wipe it just as much as the rest of the boat when pulling out of the water. I don't care the color and wipe the hull as clean as the rest to keep the scum line off. You can tell when a colored hull isn't taken care of and it takes time but a white hull will start showing also. Next issue is you will start to see scratches from the bunks for the trailer. I try and do a pretty deep load to avoid this problem or at least cut is down. If it were my choice I would say colored hull 100%

Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately it's almost identical to my last boat, which I loved but am ready for something different this time. My last boat was red and gray with the hull being gray. This time I know I want some white, just because I guess I feel like it makes everything brighter to me.

Anyways, I talked to my dealer rep about the changes and got everything locked in with a new look! He laughed at me but has been super helpful all the time. Can't say enough great things about him.

Thanks for listening everyone, lol, hopefully this ones dead sexy when I get it. Worst case I just order another next year, amiright? :)

I see a couple pricey appearance options you selected there, looks good and I never thought about mixing up the tower color and tower appearance upgrade color.

I went with my initial design from my earlier post. It spoke to me the most. I was pretty set on a light colored hull this go round, and initially didn't want any red or gray since that was my last boat scheme, but with the blues not working out for me I decided to default back to red which I love, but couldn't have so much white on the sides so decided black fit the best since there is so much other black, the tower, windshield, bimini, racks, etc. I did stick with a white trailer so hopefully that pans out in my favor.

Hope it's ok to post my previous boat here, but this just gives you a comparison of old vs new.

I'll definitely make a thread once I get the boat and start making my changes. I agree it needs to be further back but I also wanted it to be more visible by being on a contrasting color instead of the black. I also requested no snaps be installed on my floor as I plan to do custom flooring like Seadek. Plus I've got a spare bedroom starting to fill up with extras I purchased over Black Friday! I did find out my build date is Jan 16th so I should get the boat by February. We are doing a factory tour during the build as well, so hoping to see our boat and get some neat photos.

I'm picking it up Wednesday afternoon. I'll be starting a separate build thread. Unfortunately couldn't swing for the 550 like in the rendering. I think the base 400 will be adequate since I'll be mostly at sea level.

The 400 @Sea level will allow you to do everything you want. You will just have to adjust ballast according to amount of passengers when wake boarding. If you only surf you can throw just about as much as you want at it and it will hang.

The chrome is now off which it's white under there with black Supra logo's. Chrome had a bunch of scratches from docking next to a houseboat. I'm pretty sure the boat stayed in Utah after the promo/demo was done with it. It looked so damn good in person!

I'm really happy with how the boat turned out. I don't have any great pictures yet, at least in the sun showing how the blue looks. Guess it's time to replace the Mastercraft sticker on my truck.

I thought I had saved my vest when I sold my last boat, but I must have given it away. It was my first time wakesurfing, so I figured I should probably wear the orange one.
