Outback V draft [Archive]

A buddy of mine is looking at buying a 2006 Outback V, but he needs to know what the minimum amount of water that is needed for it to float. (the water at the end of his dock is very shallow). Any input would be appreciated.

I don't like to see anything less than 2 feet.

Yeah, any time I get under 3' my butt puckers a little, but I've definitely been under 3' with no trouble. I notice that the spec draft for the LSV is 2'. I wonder exactly where the pickup on the stock depth finder is though. I would assume its close to the prop because even a couple feet forward would make a huge difference when you talking about loading/unloading and shoring.
